Location of concentration camps
The main thing that stood in the way of an all Serb state of Bosnia were the many non-Serbs living there. So-called “ethnic cleansing” was done but the scale and intensity which the Serbs did it made it a clear genocide against Musims. Serbs were specifically targeted professionals, and political leaders in hopes to destroy the Bosnian Muslim culture. They murdered defenseless civilians and drove the rest from their homes and businesses were after they looted and destroyed them. Snipers shot down civilians in the streets which happened to include over 3,500 children. Serbs systematically organized Muslims much like the Nazi's. Beginning on July 12, 1995, over 20,000 Bosnian women, children, and elderly were taken to Muslim-controlled territory. From there they were separated. Men and boys who were taken by buses to either concentrations where they were beaten and starved which resulted in 10,000 deaths or they were sent straight to execution sites where they were shot down by machine guns. All in all, 8,000 Bosniak males from Srebrenica were slaughtered in this carefully planned operation in just five days. They were then hauled to unmarked mass graves.
Up to as many as 50, 000 young girls and women
were sent to rape camps. By being raped this made them unfit to by wifes or mothers in Muslim culture. Gang rape was also common and in some camps women were held captive and used as sex slaves. The act of genocide was advertised as "ethnic cleansing" in the press and caught much attention. Slobodan Milosevic used public media such as television and radio as propaganda tools that heated tensions between Serbs and Croats while demonizing the Muslims. In total there was approximately 200,000muslims killed in this 20th century genocide.

- During the Ahatovici massacre in 1992, 64 males between the ages of 15 and 75 were taken and tortured. They were put on a bus and told that they would be part of a prisoner exchange. Serbs fired on the bus with automatic weapons and threw grenades in the bus. Eight of them survived by hiding under the dead bodies of the other fifty-six men.
- In August 1992 another 200 bosnian men we also told they were part of another "prisoner exchange" but instead were brought to the edge of a ravine at Koricani, shot and pushed over the 100-meter high cliff. 12 lucky victims survived by hanging on to the bushes which managed to hide them but suffered more abuse while being treated for their wounds at the hospital.
